Week 3 Reflection
It was really a lovely week. I have learned many new and worthwhile things. I have learned about on of the most important web 2.0 tools. It is delicious; the social bookmarking. I have registered in the site and I have put some sites that I can share with other people. Also I search for some sites that other people have put them in this site. I can say that by using delicious I can have like a mobile library I can use these site wherever I go. The difference between delicious and "my favourite" is that delicious I can open it in any computer just I need Internet service but "my favourite" is only in my computer. Second Thing I have learned about techniques of teaching skills like listening and speaking. They are very important skills and we as teachers we need to take care of them. Students have difficulties to learn them and teacher needs to think about different ways to teach his/her students these two skills. Also teacher needs to put in his mind the individual differences and learners styles. Not all students learn in the same way and they are different learning style. There are three famous styles visual, auditory and kinesthetic.I also have looked at the past projects and I have enjoyed reading them. I have looked about two things how much efforts those participants have made and the benefit they have gain from this course. These projects gives me clear idea about my project in the coming weeks and I have learned about the way we should shape our coming projects.

Week 2 Reflection
It was
really an interesting week full of information. This week I have spent time
reading about some crucial issues that would help in designing a fancy project
which of course is going to help and motivate students in their studying. So I
have read about "How
to Write Clear Objectives" from Pennsylvania State University's Teaching
and Learning office gives the basic overview of the ABCD model that we will be
using. It is frankly the first time I have heard about this module and I found
it very beneficial and I am planning to use not only in this course but in my
planning for the lesson in the couples months and for next academic years. Though
I studied Bloom Taxonomy at University about
12 years age, this week refreshed my mind by the fables information that I have
found about"Classifying Objectives"
from the Innovative Technology Center at the University of Tennessee is a
revised Bloom's Taxonomy. Make sure you think about writing learning objectives
that address a range of skills on the hierarchy, as well as being observable. Also, I have read about different search engines and I admitted
that the first time I have heard about these search engine. I though there were
only " Google" and " Bing" but after reading and looking at the Web Searching Tech Tip for ideas about
techniques for searching. I tried some
of the search engines or portals to see which ones work best for academic searches
and for information for my class. Beside I tried different search engine I also
read about others post in Nicenet and I discovered that other search engines
are very useful especially in academic issues. I will recommended these web
search engine for my students and fro other teachers in my school as well.

Week 1 Reflection
This is the first week of the course. It gives me great pleasure to participate in this interesting course. I have started reading the blog instruction, though I have already had a blog I really get the benefit of the blog instruction. I think learning by using the social network or as some people call the web 2.0 tools is a grate idea. Here I am going to apply this idea by next academic year. In fact we are at the end of the academic year in school and we still have two months and then the students holiday will start. In Oman students are off in July and August. So in the coming week I will try my best to work will my students. But for next year I will implement the blog in my school officially. Because of this I am very happy that I am participating in this course and I am going to benefit from it a lot.
I like very much the idea that different participants are joining the course from different countries. So this class is like "virtual class". Different people from different countries and different cultures and even ages of participants are verify. This gives the course the power to share experience and get to use from each other. I have read all the introductions that have been written by other classmates and I would like to thanks those who have put comments on my introduction part. I also apologise to those who I could not reply or respond though I really enjoyed reading about their identification.
Finally, I would like to thank the instructor and the people in the University for given me this golden opportunity to participate in this course. I will try my best to finish the assignments, tasks and the final project just on time. I just would like to tell you that the time between Oman and University of Oregon is like 12 hours when you start in the morning at 8 a.m it is 8 p.m night here in Oman.
Thank you all and I would be very happy that everyone have a look at my blog. Please feel free to comment on my post and if you have any comment just write it down here in the blog.
