Week 5 has passed very fast. In fact, I have learned a lot from the beginning of the course till today. New information added to my previous knowledge. In this week I have learned about using rubrics in assessing the activities or the projects. I have learned about new and alternative assessment tools. I like very much about the rubrics website and I am going to use them in my next activities. I can now work with my students with concrete rubrics that guide my students toward achieve their aims of the given activities. I have learned that students need to have the ability for self-evaluative. Self -assessment is assessment by students of their own strengths and weaknesses.
Project-based learning PBL is approach that give the students opportunity to work in groups to work in project by scaffolding students with instructions and resources. Teacher is a facilitator and students are independent learners. They depend on themselves and work on the project. PBL approach is very beneficial for the students and help students to use the English language in real situation.

Hello Naif! at today I was a reflection very near your post for this week, but you said something that I believe since always "Teacher is a facilitator and students are independent learners" I forgot talk, about I appreciate a lot the BTS formation give us resources to became real this philosophy.

ReplyDeleteYour reflection it's so true we have learned so much in this course. The rubrics are a great resource to guide the task. This is a great curse, In my personal opinion I feel encourage to apply the new knowledge in class.
